Awakening Young Minds
At Drepung Loseling Institute of Texas, we offer a rare and meaningful opportunity for middle and high school students — a space to explore Tibetan culture, the peace of meditation, and the wisdom of ancient philosophy in a modern world.
In these sessions, young people learn practical ways to find calm and clarity, explore how the mind and heart work together, and reflect on life’s deeper questions. Guided by experienced teachers, they discover tools for inner balance, empathy, and understanding — qualities that support both personal growth and compassionate action.

These gatherings are offered on a donation basis, ensuring that every young person who wishes to learn can participate, regardless of financial means.

Our Teachers and Lineage
Drepung Loseling Institute of Texas follows the lineage of Drepung Loseling Monastery, India, under the patronage of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. Our center is a sanctuary for study, meditation, and service—dedicated to the cultivation of wisdom and compassion.
